26 Mar Be A Fashion Recycler: H&M Donates 7,200lbs of Clothing & Accessories
Last month, H&M made a donation of 7,200lbs of clothing and accessories. We love being sustainable with H&M, and want to thank them for their continuous support!
Sustainability is so important, which is why H&M has created The Garment Collection Program. The brand markets clothing worldwide as second-hand goods. Textiles that are no longer in the best condition to wear are converted into new productions, are sometimes even recycled.
How does it work? Drop your bag of unwanted garments at your local H&M store. It can be any brand or condition – even old sheets or random socks! The clothing is sent to the nearest recycling plant and is sorted by hand. What’s in it for you? Well not only do you get to help the environment, but you will receive a discount card for $5 off of a $30 H&M purchase.
Thank you H&M for being a Brand For Canada!
