During the month of December, the Bell Canada office at the Scarborough Town Centre launched the Bell Comfort Care Pack Program and rallied 68 employees to participate and raise money to purchase items that are most in need this time of the year. The holiday season Care Packs are filled with socks, toques, plush toys, blankets and toothpaste, school supplies, colouring books, action figures and toys.
The United Hearts™ Shelter Program distributes these holiday season comfort care packs to hundreds of children and families who are residents of local community shelters including; More Than A Child, Community Action, Rosalie Hall, and River Oak.
