If you’re looking for a new job, client, or work opportunity it’s important to dress for the part and look professional. Without access to the right resources including clothes and personal hygiene, it’s difficult to make a great first impression.

Last month, a national Canadian luxury retailer donated 1,800lbs of mens and women’s clothing that will be part of Brands For Canada’s ‘Suitable Impressions‘ program. This initiative is a full-day workshop for people on employment assistance that prepares them to transition into the workforce. Each person leaves with six new items of clothing, a gift bag with personal care items, a cell phone, starter card (if needed), a haircut certificate (from Donato Salons) and financial literacy support by Credit Canada.
