During the past 22 years, we have provided new clothing and other basic-needs items to one million people in need.
More than 300 donor companies have given a retail cost of $420,000,000 worth of new goods.
That equals 8,800,000 pounds of new clothing and other items that were not dumped and left to damage the environment.
8.4 billion gallons of our most precious resource saved. Approximately 20 gallons of water are used to make every $1 worth of clothing.
The production of clothing uses about 2,000 different chemicals. By reducing the number of items in landfills, we reduce the number of chemicals.
Clients receiving goods do not have to purchase them. This frees up scarce funds that can be used for other basic-needs such as food and shelter.
Alongside our clothing donation programs we also offer job training placements and workshops in our warehouse and dress shop.
More than 100 volunteers annually help us with sorting and counting the goods, special events, operations and governance.
Many of our recipients have never had anything new. Receiving a brand-new piece of clothing makes them feel good instantly.
