We would like to extend a VERY WARM thank you to State Street for volunteering with us yesterday. Their impact will help children experiencing poverty sleep cozy at night. Their efforts will also give people living with barriers to employment the confidence to make a great first impression during their job hunt.
The State Street Team hard at work!
Through their generous time and skills we were able to:
- Sort, de-label and prepare 2,401 pyjama pieces which will be distributed to over 1,200 kids in need (valued at over $10,000 and weighing in at 996lbs, or basically one baby elephant! 🐘)
- Prepare, steam, and merchandise over 450 pieces of interview and work clothes which will be distributed to approx. 75 participants of our Suitable Impressions Program (valued at over $37,500 or $500 per person savings)
